My Mom has been MIA since Friday which makes it nearly impossible to keep up with my duties.
Will you be my substitute mom? I mean, secretary? UPDATE! Mom is home! She had to come home early because her friend caught some bug and mom didn't like that bug, so that gives us a whole day together. Now to work on those secretarial skills!

You can replace your secretary but Mom's are irreplaceable.
My Mummy said she'd love to help, as long as you don't mind virtual treats and belly rubs, cos we live so far away from you.

Praline, our Mom disappeared for a whole week, so she wouldn't be a very good substitute....she isn't doing a good job for us right now. Maybe we need to place an ad for a new secretary too.

Mommies are definitely irreplaceable and secretarys need a day off or two now and then. That's just the way it goes. My mom will help you, but it won't be the same as your own mommie.
We agree that you already have a furry good secretary, Praline. We think there are actually laws, permitting the staff to take days off! "Headshakingly" that's the harsh reality...
