Today's Photo Hunt theme is "closed". I don't know about you kitties, but I can't stand for a door to be closed in my house. If anyone ever visits and closes the hall door to the human litter box, I start scratching on the door. My mom leaves all of the doors open in my house (except for the closet).
She has also started closing my PTU door once she gets me out of it at the vet. As much as I don't like the PTU, I also don't like being out in the vet's office, and I immediately try to get back in. Mom has learned that if I get back in, I'll fight like a tiger to not come back out again. Here I am at my recent vet visit trying to get back into the "closed" door in the PTU. I almost got it open until mom realized that she hadn't turned the lock.
You'll notice in the picture below, that mom locked the box and the door was officially closed! I wasn't too happy with my mom!

My relationship with my carrier is equally ambivalent - can't get me in it at home, can't keep me out of it at the vet's.

But that door is better to be closed rather than open and then you go in and then it gets closed...I have issues with that...

Closed doors drive me bananas! Especially when I sniff under them and I know there's something I don't want to miss!

Oh Praline, we do the very same thing at the vet. We want back into that PTU. We hate the vet except for Lucky, He loves to ramble around the room. We are still purring for you Praline. Got our paws crossed too. Take care and have a fun week end.
I hate closed doors and I make my thoughts known loudly and longly!
I also try to go back into my PTU at the Vet's so we just take the top all the way off so that if I get in, it won't do me any good.

We do the same as you Praline - mum really struggles and says we grow another set of legs when we are trying not to enter (be pushed into) the carrier as there always seems to be one stopping the door from being closed. The other end you wouldn't believe the speed at which we can enter them after being tortured!!

Praline, I do the same thing about the carrier. I hate to go in it at home, but buy do i want to get back in it at the Vet's! And I meowl going there, but am quiet coming home.

"The Boys" know exactly what you mean about the "closed box". Especially when one or the other of them is at the V-E-T, too!
And here, besides the "closet", Mikey has issues with the door to
"the other" room.
Funny how great minds think alike. We do the SAME thing!
Mom does that to me too! I never want to go into the thing but when I'm there I try to dive back in and.....no way!
We know how you feel Praline. If Mummy and Daddy's bedroom door is closed Nishiko can open it! We must get a video of her doing this so you can see how you can open a closed door with out scratching at it...

We don't like closed doors either. But Buddy howls when Jan closes a door.

When I go to the vet, Praline, I like to stay in my carrier too!! My carrier has a door on top as well as on the front so my mom can lift me right out! No fair!!
