Toesie Tuesday
We had more than 4 inches of snow yesterday and now we have the ice and freezing rain on top of it (posted Monday night in case we lose power). Mom played it smart this time and didn't put me outside in it since she thinks I was a little sick after getting my paws wet and cold after the Christmas snow. Mom was off of work yesterday and we stayed inside with a warm fire going to keep our toesies warm.

It is important to keep your toesies warm in all of that. It looks like our storm will not happen with snow this time--just rain I guess.

Ice is the worst...way back in January 1998, this region had a terrible ice storm. It's still Canada's worst weather-related disaster. So the mom knows how dangerous it can be.

Stay cozy, Mis Praline. That ice and freezing rain stuff is so much worse than the snow. We are gearing up for about 12 inches ourselves tomorrow night into Wednesday.

Yes you southern ladies need to stay inside and be safe from the snow. Our mum on the other paw is great in snow and we let her go outside in the stuff all the time.

Keeping toesies warm is very important! We don't have a fireplace, but have huge radiators that we stick our paws under!
