Mom is thinking about searching for a heated bed for me because she thinks my joints may be aching a little bit. She's a little hesitant about buying one though, because I usually ignore things that are meant for kitties. She is amazed that I will get on my boogie mat some!

Oh you know, she could always get a heating pad and put it on low for you in the evenings--lay a blanket over it for you too. Of course that doesn't help during the day but it might help her decide if you would use something like that.
The only problem is--when the lights go out, the mat will cool down.
(I found Melvin again tonight. Dad says I am supposed to EAT him!?!?! He is so cute and fuzzy, I don't want to hurt him!)

I dunno - if it is heated, that might trump the "for kitties" part! My human is thinking of getting some sort of heated pad or bed for us in hopes that it'll keep us from laying on top of the floor heaters (like that is ever going to happen!).
Maybe the warmth will draw you towards it, whether it's meant for kitties or not!
Praline, I refused to get in my heated bed until dad held me down in it and I realised that it was toasty. Maybe your mum could try that.

It's so cold here too! We didn't realize how toasty and warm our old apartment was until we moved into this place with so many windows!
We think a heated bed sounds good, but Mommy has a friend who just uses a heating pad and a blanket on the sofa for her cat with sore joints. Maybe because it's made for humans, you'll like it more!
It's cold here too, -27 Celcius today, -34C windchill. Desperately cold.

They make a great cat kind of mat that when the cat lies on it, it keeps them warm. I used it for my outside cats and they like it a lot. You can get them at Amazon. Praline you might like that one. Stay warm.

Please DO NOT use a heat pad for kitties, even if the human is there in the room. The biped's father got a 3rd degree burn with one (it was almost new) and never even realized it till he got up to go to the kitchen. It just kept getting hotter and hotter in just a couple spots.
I love my heated pad; my hips get stiff in the cold.

Yes, I think a heating pad on low would work nicely for you -- but then you would likely reject it, because that's what you do.
