I have a few favorite places in my house that I like to rest and my favorite is the footrest of my mom's couch. She even leaves it up for me when she isn't sitting in it. I think I'll have a rest on the footrest today!

Easy Like Sunday
The temperature reached the 50s yesterday. Boy, was I happy! I don't like these cold temperatures. Would you believe that 1/2 of our yard still has ice on it?

That's about what it was here, too - such a relief! We only got an inch or two of snow last Sunday (I think), but you could still see it yesterday because it hasn't been above freezing! Enjoy your 'heat wave'!!
Keep warm and snuggly, sweetie! If it gets too cold, teleport over and sun your belly on the grass in my garden.

It was in the mid-70s here, which is not uncommon for southern California this time of year. What WAS uncommon was the cold, rainy weather we had for several weeks! It made me appreciate our winter sun puddles after that!
Glad you are back on the internets. We have just checked out the catio at -15'C so we are going to snooze away the rest of the day now too. That's what Sundays are for!

A foot rest is just the place for you to rest your paws and have a snooze.
Our ice stayed for a long time too until the temperature went up and the rain came and washed it away. Now it won't stop raining. We only like the footrest part of the recliner when mum's feet are on it.
Mom says (if she remembers - MOL!) that she'll leave the foot rest up for us today while she is gone.
Would you believe it's only 6F right now at 7:30 am?!

Hope you stay warm and your ice goess away soonest. We have snow on the ground, more coming tomorrow. Our snow will probably be gone in March sometime.
yes, at your age warm is better than cold. Course we're not thrilled about cold either.
Warm is very good, Sweet Praline, yes indeed. And that foot rest looks good to us, especially to Sam. Know why? He has a thing for feet...and socks...and tennis shoes...you know, that gourmet aroma we so love.
