This is a sibling of one of the kittens that Mom was tempted to bring home. This breeder actually lives in SC, so mom definitely kept her card. The other kitten was a red tabby Persian and that breeder lives in Florida.Mom Paula: I was so tempted to get one of the kittens today. However, I am concerned about the stress it may cause to Sweet Praline at her age and she does tend to get stressed when things change around her. At least, I made some contacts with some wonderful kitty people today. I hope Praline is around for a lot longer and she will get all of my love and attention.

Praline, we think your mom was wise not to bring home a kitten! She should have brought TWO! ; ) Then they can play together and you can watch them. That could be kind of fun, don't you think? : )
Oh sweet praline I agree it would have been too much stress for you. They were kinda cute though. I remember when mum got me, Dolly cat was very old and didn't like me at all. She hissed and spat at me all the time. But given time we became good pals and I was very sad when she went to the bridge.

I know what you mean Praline. I was an only kitty for 12 years. Mom got Georgia & Tillie when their owner went
to the Bridge. I can put up with them,but Mom lets me have my own room and I like that :)

We're glad your Mom decided to keep you as an only cat. Our Mom might know the breeder in Florida since she does shows here. In fact, there is a nice lady who breeds persians that lives pretty close to us.

It's very dangerous at those cat shows when there are kittens for sale. We are getting worried when Mom goes to a cat show on the 21st she'll be tempted. We keep telling her she needs to save her green papers for when she loses her job. We don't want our food/treat/toy fund compromised.

Oh Praline, you might not realize what you are missing...a little bit of stress maybe, but then you'd get to mold this little furball in your image.

Yup, little brothers can be very stressful. Your mommy can look at kittens all she wants, but she will never find any kitty cuter than you, Praline.

yeah, everytime she goes cat show, me worry she might bring another kitteh!! but Praline you know you is no1 for your mommy and she has you in mind all the time!! dat parsian kitty was very cute though...

That would be too much stress for you. Really, why should you ever have to share her attention with some other cat? That would not be right. I'm glad your Mom came to her senses.

My advice, hold out being an only cat as long as you can. Getting a little sibling in the house is hard work. I constantly have Dumplin' jumping on my back and he is too crazy!

Praline - We can understand why you don't want things to change after so long as an only kitty. However, we do enjoy having other cats in the household. There's always somebody else to blame things on!! No matter what happens around here, Crazy Lady seems to always shout out Trixie's name first!!! LOL
