Praline was introduced to catnip for the first time at about 7 years of age! I remember laughing so hard at how my little southern diva reacted. She was so into that catnip, that she was actually snorting! I always bought the processed stuff, but last summer she was sent some "live" catnip. I just put a twig of it in the basket and it was so funny watching her reach in to get it out. Once she succeeded, she acted like her little diva self and just looked at it as if to say, "what do you want me to do with it now?" I hope you enjoy this little video.

Sometimes us kitties have a hard time making the connection between the catnip plant and the processed nip from the store!
Paula, I'm sure that diva streak runs in Persians! Miss Tia's exactly the same when it comes to catnip. You can give her a tiny bit and she'll go nuts for it. Go to any special effort to get her live stuff or fresh stuff? Diva attitude surfaces!
