I've decided that I am going to keep the Memory Lane posts going until June 5, 2011, which would have been Praline's 3rd Blogoversary. I'm trying to put together a special post for that day and then the "active" posting will end. Thank you for your continued support (I still cry every night and morning).

We love the Memory Lane posts. Praline was so sweet and had such a great sense of humor, and self! We can't even imagine how much you miss her.
Praline gave you the back lots, didn't she, MOL! I tend to give my human the frowny ears more. When my back is to her, it is usually because I am guarding the room she is in. You never know when some invasive creature like Binga or the dog is going to trespass!
I wish you didn't still feel so sad, but I know how hard it is (or at least my human does).
You will cry for a long time, I did when I lost my Scampie, but it DOES get easier with time, and they become happier cries.
I also agree with your plan to end, there must come a time when you let little Sweet Praline rest in peace, and allow yourself to continue (in a respectful way) without her.

We have loved seeing all of the pictures and videos of Praline. Praline was quite the character and Diva indeed. Grieving is such a personal thing and the length of time differs for all of us. Praline will always be in your heart.
We hope, when and if a new kitty companion joins you, you will begin a new blog for him or her.

We totally understand why you are still sad every day - we think you have every right to be (we remember when Floyd went to the bridge people saying mom was silly being sad for a while - we think everyone should get to be sad as long as they need to).
We think that the memory lane posts are so wonderful - we are glad you will keep them up and hope that even when the active posting stops you will keep the blog up because it is nice to be able to go back and see the old posts - eventually they will make you laugh instead of cry to see them we hope.
