Mom Paula: That Praline tries my patience sometimes! She didn't eat her breakfast yesterday morning (the plate with the Cosequin in it). I didn't leave the office until 8:00 pm and when I got home, I still had several hours of work to do. I fixed her another plate of canned food with her Cosequin in it. She took a couple of bites and then ignored it. I was back in my home office working on the big computer and she continued to talk to me for over an hour. I had an idea - I went in the front of the house and got her plate of food, brought it back to the home office where I was and guess what? She ate the whole thing!!!
My biggest concern about this is that I am leaving next week for an extended trip (business and vacation) to the West Coast. My mom will come over and check on Praline and feed her, but Praline won't get the attention she usually gets from me. I am concerned that she won't eat much while I'm gone. However, knowing my little Diva - she'll eat great! (I hope so!)

I hope that she does eat for your Mom. Maybe she has just learned that she has you trained and she'll be better for your Mom?
Paws crossed that she eats fine while you are away! I have a confession: I am a fussy eater, but when my human is out of town, the pet sitters seem to have a LOT less problem with my shunning food. So maybe it'll be the same with Praline.

Yeah Praline for eating. Maybe Mom can just sit with Praline while she eats. We feel like she will eat just fine for Grandma. We will cross our paws that she does.

Well, we're glad to read that Sweet Praline ate pretty good yesterday. And you have the "proof" to prove it. Great picture.
Can understand your reservations about being gone and how SP will eat for your mom.
Praline, we hope you'll eat when your Mom is away! Bella is like you...she likes her food, her way (Mom sometimes feeds her in the bathtub because she loves it!)!!
We hope she will eat for your mom -is she able to sit a while so that she has company when she eats - we wondered if she ate better with soneone there to encourage her. We will send her good thoughts to encourage her to eat.
Maybe if your grandma sits at your mom's computer and has you eat there you will eat for her. Or maybe crush up treats and sprinkle them on your food and sort of in your food you will eat better.
Awww! Praline loves you more than she loves her food! I'm glad to hear she ate up her whole dinner, though.
Perhaps you could ask your Mom to give her some extra attention while you're away.
She just wants to keep you guessing. Hopefully she surprises you while you're gone and eats a lot.

Oh praline. You are like our tesla. If mom doesn't put her dish in just the right place, sometimes, tes refuses to eat.
Hansel also gets cosequin due to the whole hip ordeal- but luckily he'll eat anything so we don't have that problem. We hope you figure it out!
And hope that your mom isn't doomed like ours having to carry tesla's bowl around until you find the right spot.

Ayla is a fussy eater when she is in heat. I've found that if I bring it someplace away from the other cats and stand there next to her, she is more willing to eat.
The Big Thing
We hope you eat well when your mum is away Praline. We eat everything that is put in front of us when our Beans are on holiday. We do get a bit picky sometimes when they are home.
