Baby Praline
Now I prefer to say that I'm not messy, I have discriminating tastes. I push the food off of the plate that tastes different and expect my slave (Mom) to clean up after me. I think she is getting slack as evidenced in the picture below.
Ladycat Praline
Mom Paula - In my defense, the picture of Ladycat Praline was taken while I was still in a sling and only had one arm.
Praline - yeah! Right, mom! We believe you!

Our plates sometimes look like that and our human has no excuse...
Adorable baby=gorgeous ladycat!!...We all eat just like you, Praline=we tell Mom the mess is a compliment to the chef!!MOL...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki
I thought that was how all discerning kittehs ate!
We're quite messy, Praline. We enjoy giving our mom extra work to do.
Looks normal to me too!
We do the same thing Praline. And our staff doesn't clean it up all the time either. I think she thinks we are going to eat that stuff off the floor or table. We want fresh food.
One arm is no excuse. Yoo betta expect a poor (cud try better) annual repawt 2010. Tee hee!
We think the food tastes a little bit better when we eat it off the floor....
We do that all the time too, Praline. But our slave has a *very* tiny kitchen, so she's forever cleaning up after us. We figure keeping her occupied is a good thing! It's exercise for her, right? And she needs all the exercise she can get. Heh.
I'm a messy eater too, Praline! Maybe it's a tortie thing?
It's hard to be neat all the time!
That's messy? You should see what WE do!!! We think you're the purrfect little Ladycat!

That silly kibble is probably difficult to eat because it rolls around. Your Sweet Praline face just isn't designed to eat off of a plate. Maybe your Mom should get you a spoon and a fork?

It's difficult to train humans to do everything you need them to do. They can be so unpredictable! ;-)
We thought this was just normal for kitties?
Who ever heard of leaving your noms on the plate?
You are not alone in your style of eating...at our house you can multiply that times eight. Yeah, now you get the picture of why they have their own room for eating. We actually have the feeders on boot trays we bought for that purpose. Easy clean up!

I'm a messy eater too Praline..don't be embarrssed
My kitties will clean out every scrap of food in their bowl. Shadow will even clean others bowls to make sure nothing is left.
We push the food out of the bowl, too!
All 4 kitties here are messy too, in varying degrees. Miss Billie gets just a little on the floor. Cody makes a big mess. It's hard to keep up with sometimes. Poor Mommy Paula, I believe you! :)
Praline, your Mom is a cat slave too?
How does that happen?
Adorable kitten picture too!

I do that too sweet one, thats what mums are for to clean up after us.mol.. I am back and have missed all my friends.. Mum wanted to say thank you for putting her birthday on your post.. It was lovely... HUgs GJ xx
I'm a pretty messy eater. Mom doesn't clean it up every day, so it can get pretty grungy. I also NEVER eat all the soft food din my bowl. No matter what, a little remains. And it gets dry and grody.
I do the same, Praline! hehehehe... Nishiko xxx
We all do the same exact thing!
We do the same to keep our mum on her toes.
Its a good idea ta have some snacks on the floor in case the bowl gets picked up when ya want a snack!
Hi! You have recieved an award from A Day In The Life Of Two Fat Cats! Please stop by to pick it up!
Food is too good to leave in the bowl...it needs to be spread around.
It could be my house!
A sling, yeah right, good one. Rosie throws her food on the floor to eat, I guess she finds it easier to eat with her flat face.
Your mom shouldn't worry. Jan gets frustrated with us too. We drop pieces of food all over the place and the only reason she has to clean it up instead of the dogs is because our dishes are up too high and blocked from the dogs.
So how is your mom's arm doing now?
