This is my grass bowl in March 2010. Notice the yellow, wilting grass. I still won't touch it!

Mom says she gives up on buying me special things that cats are supposed to love because I totally ignore them.
I don't know what this green stuff is. Where are my Temptations?

We don't blame you Praline. We don't do grass either.
We love grass but we prefer the outdoor stuff. When the Beans go on holiday, dad digs up turfs of long grass from the fields and puts them in seed trays so we can still have our grass when we are purrisoners.
We've never tried grass so we don't know if we would eat it. Mom always has to put flowers up high so we don't chew those. Mom always says she's going to try the cat grass, but we know she'll kill it before we get to try it.

We'll eat it when it's fresh, but we prefer the grass growing in our little enclosed back space. Maybe you just prefer outdoor grass too?

We eat outside grass, when we are allowed outside, but we've never tried that cat grass. At least your mom tried! We often don't like 'cat things' either. MOL

We like it! We like green stuff...but we're kind of strange that way. My momma Ellie could polish that off for you...and steal salad from your mom's plate!
WHAT? Your mommy expects you to eat raw grass? Like right out of the dirt! What does she think you are an animal or something? She needs to wash it and cook it or something! Serve it to you on a really pretty plate with a tall glass of sparkling milk. I can't believe she hasn't done this! Poor Praline....
It's nice of your Mom to try! We like cat grass and get a little container of it each week from the farmer's market. Yum.
We don't like "cat things" either, so mama is not sure if she wants to try cat grass.

Sometimes we like it, sometimes we don't. If the humans go out of their way to make sure we have plenty of it we usually won't touch it!
I'm kind of with you. I don't like the grass when it is fresh and green. I do like it when it is yellow and dying tho. Go figure.
I think your mommy should keep buying you "kitty friendly" stuff until you find ones you like. After all, she should be all about appeasing you descerning tastes.
i do not know if i would like this grass stuff either. my mommeh says she has been thinking about getting me some, but i am not sure... looks questionable.

I like grass a lot, but only if it's out in the yard. I don't like that stringy stuff they grow in bowls. It's like fake grass.
Harley likes to eat grass, but I refuse to eat even a single blade!
Hmmmm, I don't know about THAT grass, but I do like the grass Mom buys at the grocery store. And she buys it only for ME, 'cause I'm the only one in our family that likes it.

Sorry that I took liberty with your picture, Praline, but I thought that "Mucho Grassy-us" was just too good to pass up.
You're quite the finnicky girl because most kitties just love eating grass (and then throwing it up afterwards). Maybe you just don't like that second part.
We have never had that grass before but we think it looks more appetizing when it's all green.
The exact same thing happened to me. One day, my parents brought one of those green things home for me, but I didn't like it either. What was that? Eventually they gave up and just thrown it in the garbage.
