I think I'll try to take it really easy today so I don't think about my upcoming surgery on Tuesday.

Tell your Mom not to worry about missing it. SHe is taking care of it now and that is all that counts.

Your mum shouldn't feel guilty. It is much easier to not notice things you see every day. She is taking good cars of you and that is the important thing.

Cookie had his tail removed due to a tumor in December. He is doing very well.

Changes are small sometimes... Mom noticed in a picture I had lost weight and that's when they figured out I had hyperthyroid issues.

Contrary to popular people myth, Moms do not know everything, they just think they do. Maybe you can find a nice way to break that bit of truth to your Mom and then she'll feel much better.
You look so cute all curled up there taking a snooze. And tell you mom we know she takes really good care of you. Sometimes those "things" are easy enough to miss. Come Tuesday late in the day, you'll be good as new.

Sumtimes when yoo look at sumbuddy yoo love, yoo see wot yoo expect to see ~ so the bump would have been easy to miss.
