I think Mom is trying to grow kitties from my fur! She has a whole can full of this stuff! She brushes me every day and sometimes two to three times a day to collect this stuff.
I've checked it out very carefully and I don't care what she says, you can't grow a kitty from all of the floof, no matter how much I leave around!

Update: Many of you have been asking about the task of brushing me. I LOVE it! It is bonding time for my mom and me. All she has to do is hold up the comb and/or brush and I come straight to her and begin purring. The only time I get aggravated is if I have some mats that she has to work on getting out. I even lay on my back in her lap for her to clip my toe nails.

I can't believe you let your mum brush you! No way is my mum allowed to do that to me. But then, you do have much longer floofs than I do.

Your furs look very nice Praline! We don't have that poofy coat but when mommy trims the spoos she takes their furs and puts it around the garden to keep the groundhogs out! Wow, groundhogs are afraid of furs?!!=^Y^=Setzer

Does your mom like to play with sticks and string? Maybe she is saving your fur to be spun into a special yarn for her to make something.

You DO have very floofy furs, Praline! Our Mom doesn't save it to grow new kitties, but she does brush us every day. Grayson gets brushed even more, but mostly because he loves it so much!!
Wow! That's a lot of floof! The PM throws our fluff in the field so the birds can use it to make nests. That would be a pretty cosy nest!

Your brushed furrs look very byootyful. Mum brushes my furrs every day and says there's enough to make another Eric.
Please don't tell us your mommie saves your furs in baggies! Our mom does that. Our Himmie sister that "came before us" had over 20 baggies stuffed with her furs that mom combed out. This was over a 2-3 year span. She only kept one bag though. You are even more beautiful after your brushing, if that is possible.

Mommy Bean thoughted your Mom was going to makes a fur sweater for herself with your furs. (Don't laughs, she saw these two folks over in the UK that used woofie fur to make sweaters for themselves.)

We make Mom and Dad work for the brushing by staying just inches away from the brush.

Oh, Praline -- I'm so glad you enjoy your brushing! I do, too. I just adore it, especially when Mom uses the Zoom Groom. It feels just like a massage!

Being brushed is lots of fun. I dunno, magic happens - maybe that floof *will turn into kittens. You never know.
Yes Praline, using your furs will work keeping moles away too! Your mommy will have to replace it after awhile but all they need is to smell a predator and they will move on. Mommy only had one garden and the stupid groundhogs were diggin' holes all over it, so she trimmed both spoos before their baths and their smelly furs were placed all around the garden and in the holes,(with a stick), they left for good!! The beans even had to put the furs around the big sand mound, (our disposal system)cause if that gets damaged it could cost BIG bucks!! You see, another big plus for furkids!!=^Y^=Setzer

What a coincidence! My mommy saves my fur too...I know because I've seen little piles of it under the bed and sofa. It's not bad housekeeping...she's growing kitties.
Bhu is NOT a fan of brushing! We go to Josie, the groomer, once a month and he is happier with her. I think he wants to maintain his dominance over the humans, so he won't let us brush him. But he seems to like Josie and she likes him. So, it's good. Bhu sez: "Yah, Josie iz nicez!! Me luvz her. Me luvz Sweet P MORE." xxoo
