Off to Work
My birthday is September 25, so this gives my Mom lots of time to set up the party. What, Mom??? What do you mean you're busy and your shoulder hurts??? After all, a ladycat only has one 14th birthday!

Floofy Friday
Pee ess - of course, we should have a ladycat's sleepover. I have my black tent that GJ sent me, I have my leopard scrunchy pad, I have blankets, fev-vers, brushes, nail clippers, and a good secretary (mom) who will take wonderful care of us. Who wants to do a sleepover if the mancats don't show. Even if they do show up!!!

Paw It Forward
Is this for me, Mom? Why are you just now giving it to me?
One of the first things Mom pulled out of the package was an envelope. Guess what was inside of it? It was a charm for my Mom with my picture on it. I think my Mom got leaky eyes when she saw it. She told me I couldn't play with it, that it was something she would treasure long after I am gone. Where am I going Mom?
Then, Mom poured the contents out of the envelope. There were lots of presents, but my attention was immediately drawn to the fev-ver toy! It didn't say anything about catnip, but I fell for it immediately.
In fact, I wouldn't even let Mom take the fev-ver toy off of the paper. I grabbed it and started playing with it. I didn't even give mom time to change the flashy box to video, so she took a bunch of still photos to show you how much I enjoyed it.
Here are the guidelines for Paw It Forward:
The exchange focuses on doing an act of kindness without expecting anything in return other than that the recipient will, in their turn, pass the kindness along and 'paw it forward' in their own way. This is how it works...I am going to send something to the first blog owner who wants to take part. In turn you will then post about this on your blog, link back to me, then send something to the first person who signs up to play along through your blog. There are no cost restraints, BUT don't go crazy! The little something you send can be something you made, bought, were given or found. No biggie, just a gift that will make the person smile; maybe something unique from where you live? And, remember that kindness does not have to involve money, there are untold ways to help others every single day, everywhere you go- just look around. Please post a comment letting me know that you want to play!
Mom just told me I have two more packages that came in this week! Oh boy! Oh boy!

New Treat?
Ahhhhhhh! Now this is more like it! Now, on to the Topini Treats, the Temptations, the Friskies, . . .
Pee ess - We hope to visit more within the next couple of days. Please be patient with us as my mom is still a little down and in pain. She helps me get my post up, but tends to fall asleep soon after. Please don't forget us! Mom says thank you so much for all of the group headbutts and purrs this weekend.

College Football Kickoff!

Tonight kicks off the college football season and our South Carolina Gamecocks are playing their first game on ESPN at 7:00 pm EST. Mom and I will be watching the game on our HDTV together this time. Many of you may remember that mom left me every weekend last year to travel to the games, but she said the green papers are very tight this year because of both of our health issues, so she isn't going to the away games. I like this better, even though my mom tends to yell and scream at the tv during the game.

Tortie Tuesday - Baby Praline
As I grew into an adult ladycat, the dark markings on my body disappeared and my coat is a mixture of cream and red (from both of my parents) and my tail, toes, and face have the seal pointed markings of my Himmie mom.Mom says even though I have the sweet disposition of the Himmie and Persian that I do have the cattitude of a Tortie at times. I don't know what she could be talking about.

Putting My Paw Down
I had enough and let her know by putting my paw down!
Mom goes back to work today after a week-long staycation. I'll miss her, but it will be nice to have the house to myself again.

Photo Hunt - Surprise
Today the Photo Hunters' theme is "surprise." I thought I would play a game of peek-a-boo and see if I could surprise you!
Just who is the floofy kitty? It's difficult to make heads or tails of the kitty because of so much floof! Look at the toe hawks, the tortoiseshell color, and the seal-pointed toes.

Floofy Friday
Usually, mom takes most of my pictures when she gets home at night and you see my beautiful dilated eyes. Since she was home during the day this week, she was able to get some pictures of me and you can actually see my green eyes. The green eyes are the main thing I got from my red Persian father; everything else, I got from my Himmie mother.
Have a floofy Friday my furriends!
