Missing Mom

Mom left me last night for 4 whole days.  She has a meeting at one of the universities.  My grandparent beans (who had the wreck) are also out of town because my uncle bean is in the hospital, so my pet sitter Janet is taking care of me again.  She's really nice to me and brushes me and gives me treats but she isn't mom.

Friday Hidey Hole

I think I have the purrfect hidey hole where Mom can't find me.  Many of you have seen mom's junk closet.  She hasn't been inside this closet in months (as you can tell by the clutter spilling out of it).

There!  Did my camouflage work?  Have I blended in with the junk?  Mom will never think to look for me here.

Thursday Hidey Hole

Hmmmmm!  Here's a good place!  It's low to the ground and Mom will never find me under here!

Almost completely under the dresser.  I better hurry before Mom finds me.  I hear her coming down the hall!

Rats!  She discovered my hiding place again!  This was such a good place, too!  Where oh where can I hide next?

Pee ess - Sorry I didn't get to visit yesterday.  My grandma and grandpa bean had a car wreck and totaled their car, so my mom was with them all day.  They are okay, but the car is a mess.

Rats!  Hidey Hole Discovered Again!!!

Tuesday Hidey Hole

Mom found my hidey hole yesterday, so it's time to find another.  This time I hid really good underneath a piece of furniture.

However, Mom's toes felt something soft and floofy and looked underneath her computer and this is what she saw.

Maybe if I didn't have so much floof, this would have been a good hidey place.  I was still close to mom while she was working.  I think Mom has too much work to do at home as evidenced by her desk. 

Do you see the Reese's White Chocolate peanut butter cup wrappers?  Mom just loves this time of the year when these are available.  You can also see some of my treats on the floor, too!

Monday Hidey Hole

I finally found a new hidey hole and mom found me this weekend!  She was working at her computer and kept hearing this noise at her feet!

Mom had to get down on her hands and knees and here's who she found under that bottom shelf in the back corner!

Guess it's time to find another hidey hole!

Not So Easy Sunday

What do you mean it's time to get up?  I've still got an extra hour to sleep!!!  I don't do Daylight Savings Time!

St. Patrick's Day Entry

I wanted to submit my entry for Brian's St. Patrick's Day contest.  I thought I would use "the best use of green"  as my category.  I don't have anything green around the house and mom is limited with the photo editing because of the new computer and older programs not working on Windows 7.

I know many think of beer of St. Patrick's Day, so where else would a beautiful ladycat want her picture, but on a beer can where all of her mancat admirers could look upon her beauty.

Floofy Friday

A floofy ladycat must constantly wash her floof to keep if fluffy and clean.  This might take all day.

Floofy paws also require extra attention!

I Don't Do Grass

This was my grass that mom planted in my special grass bowl back in February.    It was growing pretty well at the time, but when mom put it in front of me, I just sniffed it, turned up my nose and walked away.

Acatemy Awards

I know we're supposed to use "movies" for our submissions, but I decided that our series, "As The Paw Turns" was worthy of submission.  If you didn't get a chance to follow the series, you can go here for the week of the series.

Awards for Best Catress should go to me and Best Supporting Catress should go to Maggy of Zoolatry. 

Best actor is a toss up because all of my favorite mancats (himmies/persians) were in the movie:  Bhu, Goma, Romeo, and Ginger Jasper.  Little Melvin would definitely win best support cator!

There is no doubt the ZH, Ann would win for best artistic interpretation on the theme!

We are thinking about a sequel, "Days of our Paws!"

Easy Like Sunday

My Junk Claw-sit

I think mom needs to clean out my junk claw-sit!  She has so much "stuff" on the floor that I can't get in there. 

I wonder if there is anyone out there that can help me get rid of this clutter . . .

Messy Eater

Mom says I've been a messy eater ever since I was a kitten.  I say I was being smart by putting some extra crunchies on the floor in front of me so I wouldn't have to get up to get some more.

Baby Praline

Now I prefer to say that I'm not messy, I have discriminating tastes.  I push the food off of the plate that tastes different and expect my slave (Mom) to clean up after me.  I think she is getting slack as evidenced in the picture below.

Don't Do Mondays

Is is Monday already?  Go ahead Mom, you can go to your day hunting job to earn green papers to keep me in the lifestyle I deserve!  I think I'll stay home and wait for the weekend to come back.  I don't do Mondays.
