Mom Paula: Praline is scheduled for her annual checkup with the vet this Friday. She appears to be eating better and is a little more social. However, her fur is still very greasy and when I brush her now, she has a lot of dandruff. All of her bloodwork last month showed there were no problems with the organs, including the thyroid. I'm going to get the vet to look at her skin very carefully.

I hate thinking about going to the vet. You have been much too often. I hope that the vet finds something to make your Momma stop worrying!

When our Mom lived in a cooler climate and ran the furnace more, our brother and sister cat would get dry skin in the Winter time. Maybe that's what's going on?
Maybe it's a trip to the spa that you need, not the vet! :) Anyway, we hope everything checks out OK!

Good luck! Maybe you just need a bit of omega-3 fatty oil in your diet, Praline, if you're not getting enough right now. (We don't know, we're just tossing that out.) We're glad all your blood work is fine, though!

Praline, haven't you been there enough already? I'd do what Brian advised, and hide! Tell your people you're not gonna put up with any more check ups! Didn't she try the baby powder in your beautiful floof to get rid of the grease? I use it myself, and it's wonderful if you don't really wanna have a bath. You should give it a try. It's worth the brushing to have beautiful floof.
We hope your v-e-t visit is not too awful on Friday Praline. At least it doesn't sound as though you will be stabbed on this visit.
