It's finally Friday! Mom has been working too much again, so I haven't had much time with her, but at least she's been home. She tried weighing me again last night (she stepped on the scale first and then picked up me) and it looks like I've gained back at least 1/2 pound. Mom doesn't know how accurate it is because her scale doesn't weigh to the nearest ounce, but at least it was higher than a few weeks ago.
I've been on the Cosequin for about 3 weeks and appear to be moving a little better. Mom is still working on getting all of my mats out. My floof is still a little greasy and we are trying to figure out how to help me keep my floof clean. Any suggestions?
It looks like all of your purrs are helping out! Please purr for my mom. She has a couple of doctor appointments next week that she is worried about. I'll share more with you after she sees the doctor. We hope it's nothing.

We will purr hard for both you and your Momma. You've had to see those doctor types way too often this last year.
Oh, yes, Praline... we'll keep both you and mom in our purrayers. When Bitty had her tooth problems (while we were on hiatus), and her furs got all stringy, we just keep brushing. Eventually she was her glossy self again.
we will purrs for your mom...
hope everything will be ok
pursss & kisses,

We will keep you and your mom in our purrayers Praline. Sometimes Hannah's furs look a little greasy on her back but we don't know why and then another day they are back to normal. Mum tries to brush her everyday but sometimes the brush is snatched and given a good bunny kicking instead!!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
That's great news about the weight gain.
We hope your Mom's doctor visits all go well and we will keep purring for both of you!

Praline, tell your people to go get some baby talc. She needs to part your beautiful floof and sprinkle the talc into the roots of the hair. Just a little, mind you. Then comb it through. This will keep you tangle free and greaseless. It's what we show cats use. Baby talc is best because then it doesn't matter if you decide you want to clean some of it off you. It won't hurt you if you eat it. i warn you though, the people will want to smoosh and kiss you even more cuz you'll smell all scrummy to them like a humankitten does. i'm sorry about this, but their smooshing is a necessary evil.
I'm guessing you won't let your people wash you in the whower then? if you can put up with it, a shampoo formulated especially for humankittens will be kind to your skin, and even to your eyes if you get any in there. As long as your people rinces your coat well, you'll have no problems. Tell your people to write to my human if she likes. We know an awful lot about cleaning, because she has to clean me all the time! Long floof is no fun sometimes!
We are sending all our purrs to you and your Mom Miss Praline.
The baby talc sound like a great idea!
