Extra Day with Mom
Today is Labor Day in the United States. It's a day when a lot of the beans get to take a day off from doing labor. Doesn't make too much sense to me, does it to you? All I know is that I get an extra day with mom today.
Uhhhhhhhh, Mom! There's only one can of my stinky goodness left. You remember what happened last time, don't you?

Better keep on your mom about that food, Praline. We made our mom stock up piles of it. We know she won't want to go out on Labor Day.
I thought Labor Day was a day that humans spent completely catering to the needs of us cats and doing nothing else! Isn't that why their jobs let them have the day off? So your human had better do something about your food situation fast!
It's Labour Day in Canada too, so our mom is happy to have another day home from the office. :-)

Hope the people at the store didn't take the day off so that your mom can go get you some more stinky goodness! You'd think beans would learn to keep the stinky goodness well stocked but they are very slow learners.

Well, Labour Day is really a holiday for people who have jobs, Praline. If you had to go to a job every day during the week, you might like to have an extra day off, too!
I have to admit, though, for kitties there is no rest. You must constantly amewse us, and pose for our pictures. So LaPURR Day is like any other day for you.

Does going to the store to get stinkey goodness qualify as labor?
Well, I had an extra day with the Human today, but I can't say I was all that excited about it. I mean, she used the Sucky Monster and everything & I had to hide. Pfft. Let her go back to work!
