Staying Warm
I don't see how all of my furriends in the northern parts of the U.S., Canada and Europe stand the cold weather and the white stuff all of the time. It has been so cold here in S.C. the past two weeks. Mom bought some "fake" wood to burn because she is running out of the real stuff. She says it is so dry because she hasn't needed it during the past two years and now it burns like crazy. If this cold weather continues, we'll be out of the "fake" stuff soon!

Fake logs are just as pretty in the fireplace! It is very cold here still, about 20 degrees. It is a very good time to have a home!
We're furry cold too! Those fake logs look good too us.

we are up here in MD and it's freaking freezing! (says mommy) us kittehs that have nice coats of FUR are doing alright. Even ben ben- because mom refused to trim him this winter, said it'd be too cold for the little schnauzer!

We don't have a fireplace, but our apartment is nice and warm. Hairy blanket and a furry friend always helps!

We're with you on that one, Praline! There's nothing like a nice fire to keep things cozy and warm in the house -- even with the fake wood. We use those kind of logs all the time. They last longer.
Mai mom sez you can make "logs" out of rolled up newspaper that U soak in some sorta solution. Google it. We iz havin' a warm-up here, so we hopes it gets to U soon! xxoo Bhu
We like those fake logs here. They don't smell as much as when we burn real wood and they burn for a long time for the size of the log.
