UnEasy Sunday
Mom is staying an extra day with her friend Katie in Clemson today. They are going to visit her former church where she used to be the pianist. Meanwhile, I hear mom has been petting another kitty while she was away and her name is Allie! I can't believe mom left me for another kitty.
I think I'll just lie here and sleep on it until Mom gets home tonight. I'll have sweet dreams of our reunion together and hope mom doesn't realize how many treats I got while she was away.

I would be very unhappy with my human if she were off with another cat. I would ignore her for hours after she returned.

My Mom also pets lots of kitties when she's away. I can tell because I can smell them on her hands when she comes home. But, she always tells me I'm the most important kitty, and I believe her.

Petting another kitty is NOT the same as petting you. Its a poor substitute however lovely the other kitty might be.
I think you should have as many tweets as you want to help you cope with her absence.
We won't tell her about the treats. Sweet Praline, this other cat can't possible be as lovely as you, so don't you worry. Your mom will always come back to you.
