The cortisone shot isn't finished doing its job. I don't know if the doctor explained it or not but there is a second painkiller mixed with the cortisone. It immediately makes you feel better but its main purrpose is to make the cortisone shot less painfull. When that painkiller wears off your brain tries to convince you that the cortisone isn't working, butttt it really is still there slowly doing its job. One of these days, and it won't be long you'll wake up and the pain will be completely gone.
Don't worry Praline, those kitties can't really see you -- they are only pretend kitties -- not like you who is 100% real. Your coat looks so purrty in the sunlight!

So sorry to hears about your momma's shot wearings off. Momma hads a friend dat gots those until she hads to has surgery. I hopes your momma gets betters soon.
