Memory Lane - Laser Eye Collage

These pictures never made it into Praline's blog because I always wanted to show off her beautiful eyes.  However, when looking at these, they are so funny to look at now because they tend to show the "diva" side of her, demanding she gets what she wanted.  I hope you enjoy these!

Please purr for me as I post this week.  I thought it was going to be easy to stop Praline's blog, but I'm finding it harder to do the posts because I know the end is coming and I'm not really sure I'm ready for that.  I miss that little stinker and she'll always be in my heart, but I know I have enough love to give more furchildren in the future.  In the meantime, I am still working through my grief.  Thanks for all of your support.

I know this is last year's graphic for Memorial Day, but I wanted to honor Praline along with our military heroes today as it is Memorial Day in the United States.  This is the graphic that was used in last year's post with Sweet Praline to remember those in our military who gave their lives for our freedom.

We love that little photo at the bottom with her little mouth open! It is so cute!

We continue to think about you--in fact the Male was even asking about what you were doing next so you are definitely in the family thoughts-

You don't have to stop posting until and if you're ready. We are all here for you in spirit, and no need to cut yourself off for support we hope helps ease your pain.

When I pass Mom plans on talking about the ones who came before. Or maybe fostering kittens, until the right kitty comes into her life.

Praline really did know how to work the lasers, even if we did not get to see them that often!

It's hard saying goodbye to a kitty. My human still misses the cat before me a LOT, and she has been gone for over 9 years! There is no timetable. Do whatever you feel you need to do, and we will all be fine with it. Trust me, all the humans who visit Praline's blog totally understand.

Oh we so know how hard it is trying to let go ... but maybe you could dedicate a Friday Flashback post to Praline each week, once you stop regular posting about her. Sniffie's mom does that ~ and we love seeing those flashback posts. Gone is not forgotten. Purrs and love.
Hopefully your new yet to be adopted fur-baby will take over the blog.

We're sending purrs and purrayers to you, Paula. The mom still cries over Annie, and it will be 15 weeks on Wednesday. Time is irrelevant.

We've enjoyed all the collages and posts and think it's been a wonderful way to honour gorgeous Sweet Praline.

We will purr for you, Paula. We know it's difficult to let go. Our Mom says that you should do what feels good for you as you heal. There is no specific mourning period. Everyone heals at their own pace. In the meantime, we love seeing photos and video of Praline. She was very loved in our household.

Love the "laser eye" collage. Top left and bottom middle are my favorites for now. If I look later, those may change!

Now about ending Sweet Praline's blog...you have so many great stories and photos to share, I vote that you just keep going. (Not that you asked for votes or anything! :)

I've mentioned before that I just came to the Sweet Praline party in the last year or so, so I imagine there's lots I haven't seen. Besides, re-runs are fun, too.

And when the time is right, you'll be able to put a close here.

In the meantime, I'll keep stopping by.

She looks at her bossiest best!
We are enjoying all these posts you have done in her memory.

Love the photo of gorgeous Praline telling you what she wants in the bottom of the adorable collage=just precious!...Honestly, it is with mixed emotions that we support your decision to end her blog, which is selfish because visiting here is a comfort to us as well...Always follow your heart and your decisions will be the right ones and obviously, we do support anything that gives you comfort and makes you happy, Paula...We will be here for you, with or without blogging, as you navigate toward your new reality...Sending you big hugs, dear friend...xoxo...J, Calle, Halle, Sukki

Those pictures are terrific. Love the one at the bottom in the middle. She was a cutie.
We sure vote for you to not stop posting about that little diva cat. Surely you can find some pictures of when she was a kitten or something. We want to hear more about her and understand about you not wanting to quit. So just keep on posting. Take care and try to have a good day.

Though we don't always comment, we have enjoyed your memory posts about Praline. Please keep them up, even if less often. I hope there will be a new kitten in your life soon.

Oh Miss Praline sure ruled with a iron paw! We imagine you running amok and doing all sorts of crazy things without her to keep you in line.
You go ahead and post whatever you want, whenever you want...we'll be here! Mommy says she's never forgotten any of her other Cats, rather her heart keeps getting bigger.

Of course we will purr for you. Please don't feel you have to stop posting if you are not ready to stop.

Maybe instead of stopping this blog, you should just evolve it forward into being mostly about the new cats and only sometimes remembering Sweet Praline.

I don't think the new kittens would mind.

I understand and one day I will be in the same position. We completely understand love for ones furbaby and we all feel the same way. I love to visit and see your precious angel.

Althought we will be missing Praline's posts, I think you need to move on. Maybe find another subject (or kitty) to blog about...

Of course, you don't have to stop if you don't want to, but you don't have to post everyday either. Maybe from time to time, whenever you feel the need to.

Whatever happens we'll be here for you.

Sweetest lasers ever.

You'll know when it's right. I've had the opposite problem, it's been really hard work to continue the blog after Inigo passed. I think we'll all find the best way forward in the end, and you're in my thoughts.

Wow, Praline really had pawsome lasers!

Mom says you should continue to post as long as you want. We'll bet there are lots of photos like these that we've never seen and many that we would enjoy seeing again. Mom is still posting Flashback Femme Friday and it's been 8 months since Sniffie went to the Bridge.

Just dropping in as I saw your comment on Kittens and Things. That is very happy news indeed.

I really believe that each kitty who comes into our lives makes us better and more loving so that when the time is right we are ready to welcome new love into our lives.

It seems like you got your PhD in Kitty Studies from your sweet, wonderful girl. Best wishes to you!

We love those photos of Praline.
There is no need to leave/end the blog. Angel Praline is with us all the time and we are all there for you and whatever you decide to do. Gone is not forgotten. Whoeever comes next can continue the blog in Praline's memory.

Haha! We love Praline's laser eyes!! She sure knew how to give the "look!"

Mom Paula, we know how much you are missing Sweet Praline. Sometimes you have to go with your heart and do what you want to do and if you want to keep posting, we'll keep visiting. We know there are more kitties in your future and we hope they will want to blog too, but you can always do some Praline posts. You know how much we all love to see her.

this post made us furry sad, an' then it made us furry glad--we is still happy to hear frum you, an' you'll know when it's time to move on from blogging. or not. if, as we suspect, the siren call of a kitty in need of a home reaches yer ears an' heart at just the right moment. until then, we will jus' quietly love you an' praline as much as efurr.

We are purring and praying for you, Mom Paula. We think Milo and Alfie's idea is a good one ... maybe you could do a Flashback Friday once or twice a month. After all, Praline will *always* be in your heart...
