Working at Home

Mom has been really busy at work again. So much so that she is working at home when she should be taking care of me. Do you think if I sit by her laptop looking cute that I can get her to pay attention to me instead of work?

She says she is trying to get stuff caught up before her shoulder surgery. I feel for her, but I'm the princess around here and all of her time should be spent pampering me. Don't you agree?

She should definitely be pampering you! I think you are being neglected. Come to our house and enjoy our human!

We think sitting next to the laptop is a great idea. How could she resist that sweet face?

You should sprawl right across the whole laptop, then your mum with have no choice but to stop working and pay attention to you.

You sitting on her laptop should work! How could she not pay any attention to a cute thing like you??

We know for a fact that our Mom would not be able to get any work done with that cute little face staring at her and all that floofy fur.

We totally agree with you!!! But, maybe if your mommy finishes all of her work, just think...she'll have her surgery and be home with you everyday!!!

Your poor mom -- give her a little break, Praline! I think you are close enough to her already that she can still pay attention to you with the odd pat while she's working. It's kind of hard to ignore you anyway, isn't it, princess? What a cutie -- how could anyone ignore you!

Oh Praline, your mother will have a free time for you !

If she gets caught up now she won't be trying to go back too soon after her surgery. And while she is off, you will have her all day, hopefully for several days!

Sweet one your mum will be home with you for quite a while and you will get all her attention then..

I think you should drape across her lap as she's trying to work. That way you get lap time even if she's typing. Works for us!

You are the best pouter I know Praline! :)
Sometimes a Mom's gotta do what a Mom's gotta do honey. I am keeping Mommy Paula's upcoming surgery in my thoughts for sure!

Totally agree. I hope the surgery fixes your Mom right up!

If you sit right there, she can work and pamper you at the same time. You DO have a great "pouty" expression there!

I think you are in the perfect position so she can work and pet you at the same time!
