Grounded!

Why, you say? Why would I, Sweet Praline be grounded? I plead temporary insanity!

The evening was cool and Mom was talking to a friend on the front porch with the door open and I walked right outside to join her. Mom's friend just said, "Don't let Praline get out" and my mom responded, "She won't come out" and she looked down beside her and there I was. You should have seen mom move! I didn't think she had it in her to move that fast! The last time I tried this trick was about 8 years ago! Mom has the eagle eye on me now!

I think I'll hangout in the bathroom for a while until Mom calms down.

Pee ess - My friends, Samantha and Mr. Tigger are missing. Please go over and send some special purrs.

Ha ha - you tricked her! But be very careful if you go outside - it can be scary out there. I will protect you though.....

At least you stuck close to your Mummy. It's so much safer to be an indoor cat!

Mommy always worries about us getting out too. Especially since there is BIG, BUSY, Noisy road right in front of our house. Our purrayers are with Mr. Tigger and Samantha. We hope they will find their way home soon.

We are purring like mad for Samantha and Mr Tigger.

I'm not allowed out the front door either. They tell me it's for my own "safety".

It must be something in the air. I tried the same thing last night when Mom was talking to Aunt Tiff at the front door. I got my front paws out the door and Mom scooped me up and asked if I had lost my mind.

Tell your Mom you weren't planning to leave the porch!

We are worried about Sam and Mr Tigger. We hope they stick together and are found, or come home. It is difficult when the place is new and they don't know where home is.

Outside is a very scary place. We really hope your Mom lets you off being grounded soon.

You look a little hissed off in that breaking news story! Being grounded for life is not so bad...life on the inside is good.

Angel, Kirby and Max said...

Do be careful! I am sure Sam and Tigger just wanted to see what was outside, too. WE are purring for them!

Think of it this way...Rules are meant to be broken!!! Just don't tell your mom we said that!!! We are purraying for the safe return of Sam and Tigger!

No no no--stay inside Praline! Outside is no good for kitties, especially ladycats like yourself! We're purring hard for Sam and Tigger!

Moms can get so worked up when we try to sneak out......Sam and I sneaked out a couple weeks ago....course I'm afraid to go more than just outside the door, but Sammy is much more the adventurer and was off the entry way and sniffing the lawn in no time........it was short lived as we were "captured" and brought back in pronto.

Love from both of us, Andy

Oh noes, Miss Praline, you are grounded? We are sure that won't last too long.

We just can't stop purring for our dear friends Mr. Tigger and Samantha. Oh how we want them to get back home safe and sound!

Praline, please don't scare your mama and the rest of us like that! Yes, hang you head in shame. At least you're safe inside.

I feel heartsick about Samantha and Mr. Tigger. We already left our purrs and prayers.

Praline please don't do that again - I don't think my heart could take it. With Samantha and Mr. Tigger missing we are worried enough - we don't want to add you to the list!

This is a case of Mom knows best. You are safer inside. You are certainly gorgeous with all that beautiful fur. I think a bathroom is a nice place to hang out while mom calms down. Have you tried napping in the washbowl?

Oh Praline, you must have given Mommy Paula a terrible fright! I remember when Toeshee got out when he was a kitten. I was beside myself.
Cody has escaped too and put me through it. Miss Billie and Cricket have no interest in venturing out, thank goodness!
You can pout, as it is a cat's right to do so. :)
I am sad about your friends who have gone missing and I am holding them in my thoughts. I pray that Love will lead them home to their poor Mommy.
I will see you again this week, hopefully tomorrow.
Take care.

Lorianna
