Stranger in My House

PLEASE HELP US! We accidently deleted our complete blog list of our fur friends. We must start over from the beginning and add everyone back to our list who has visited us and who we have visited. Thanks for being patient as we begin the overwhelming task of adding everyone back. (Mom says the postings may be shorter and visits to other sites fewer for a few days until this gets done.) If anyone has suggestions for quicker ways to do this you can email Mom at pag4usc@sc.rr.com.

Hey Mom, I think we have company. I heard a car pull up and the security alarm beep. Somebody is coming to check on you (Mom is at home sick again).

It's Nannay! (That's my human grandmother). She has somebody with her . . .

Ooooooo. I don't think I like the looks of her companion. You're not going to let Nannay come in here with him, are you?

It's a CANINE! I quickly got down in my protected mode, gave him the glowing stare, and when he got closer, I hisssssssssssed at him. (Mom says I don't do that often and she even laughed when she heard it because she doesn't hear it often.) Well, this hiss appeared to work, because he never got any closer. Mom says the leash helped with that but I don't believe her. It was the hiss.

However, I wasn't going to take any chances. I quickly moved around the other side of the couch and went to the end of the hallway and kept a look out until he left. I had to protect my Mom's bedroom - we can't have any strange men in there (hee! hee!).

This is Bandit. He is my human grandmother's Shih Poo (half Shih Zu and half Poodle) puppy and he will be 4 months old next week. He came to visit my Mom today because she wasn't feeling too good and the doctor told her to stay at home a couple of days and try to get some rest! It was nice of him to visit, but I can take care of my Mom all by myself without another furchild coming over!

Is he gone Mom? Mom assures me that he is gone and I have the house all to myself again. Mom gave me extra treats today after he left.

Bandit sure is cute, but I know it's upsetting to have strangers on your turf! ;-)

Good luck reconstructing your blog list. We had to do that once, too, and *still think we're missing some.

Bandit is cute, but not as cute as you, Praline. We hope your mom feels better soon - sending healing purrs her way.

It looks like you did a good job protecting your mum! You shouldn't be scared of all pups - my best friend is a pup called Zimmie! He's a siberian husky.

Good watching, your house is safe.

The mom of the house has asked that I thank you for her for coming over to celebrate her special day, the birthday! She thought that it was nice to have a party for her but she was sad that she couldn't be there. She did enjoy seeing the photos and now has teleported back to her vacation. She sends you her love.

I am now busy getting ready for the Safari, as you can see by our outfits Momo, Opus, Roscoe and I are ready!

Bandit is SO cute! With just a little bit of curiosity, Praline, the two of you might become friends!

You can use the Cat Blogosphere's list until your's is rebuilt. There's a link on their website on their sidebar.

Hi Praline. Good work keeping the woofie in his place. Bet it was the hiss that did it. Hope your mum soon feels better, and you get your linklist up and running again.

Wow, that was a close call!!!

Mom says, if you right click on our page, then go to "view page source" you can copy our html code for our friends links and then paste it into your template in the right place. This will be faster than adding each link separately. If there are some in our list that you don't want, just delete them line by line.

We don't like woofies either, Praline, especially Sam! I am glad you had your granny visit you, and hope your Mom feels better soon. My Momma feels really yucky today too, headache, upset tummy and really screwed up sinuses, and decided to stay home from work. At least she can still help with our blog ... hee hee! She emailed you our info, too.
Thanks for helping me celebrate my birthday Tuesday, it was SO much fun!

Bandit is a cute woofie, but even the most adorable woofies must be managed, and you did an excellent job, Praline! Hisses work miracles, don't they?

Whew! Good job protecting your mom's bedroom! And what a Hiss! That must have been an extra strength hiss, too, to keep the mini-woof away! Purrs for your mom!

Well most of us could do without the woofies but Ty totally adores them. He rubs all around Luke and OBI and OBI gives him yucky baths! You have to be careful of those little ones 'cause they can get into places where you hide......We hope your Mommy gets better soon but at least she has you to purr her pain away!=^Y^=Setzer

Well, if you want to go this far, the Wayback Machine probably has your old blog archived. Not sure the work would be worth the effort, but it is an option. There might be some search engines that have your blog cached, as well, if you want to check around a bit.

May we suggest checking into Blogrolling as an place to stash your blogroll? We use it, and it has a lot of nice features, not the least of which is that it ISN'T saved in Blogger.

We're not sure we've ever commented here before, but if you want our URL, it is

Ah, Praline, we live with Jan so we know all about those OOPS moments.

You did a good job of protecting your mom from the intruder, but believe us, all woofies are not bad. We have Buddy, Samaritan and Merci.

Hi Pretty Praline,
We are sorry your Mommy is not feeling well. You keep purring on her and she'll be better in no time!

You did very good at protecting your house. We don't get too many woofies that visit us, but we're sure we would hiss a little bit, also!

xoxo

P.S. Rocky says thank you for the nice post on our bloggie. He says you are the prettiest girl kitty he's ever seen :) :)

I sure hope Mom feels better! I'm sure you are taking good care of her.
I am so bad with computers! I have a short blogroll because I hand type every url link and even then I mess up! I have not learned the easy way to do it. My daughter has given up on me! :) I can't link to save my life! I almost always mistype something. sigh... :)
I read your other posts and admired Praline's cute tummy. I always enjoy coming to visit.
