No More Noise Crackers!

OK, Mom, I put up with all of those noise crackers all day yesterday, so today let's have some peace and quiet, okay.

Seriously, I did okay yesterday. Mom went to eat with some friends and there were a lot of noise crackers going off when she got home after dark. But, I was a good kitty and met her at the door and she rewarded me with treats, so I stayed out of the closets the rest of the night.

Note from Mom - Praline did really well last night. It was the first time she actually stayed out of the closets and sat beside me!

what a brave girl you are! the horrible neighbors are setting off those noisy things right now, and we're all nervously gathered around the Lady.

Our Human is thinking (WRONG!) that the only way to get me, Maggy, to sit beside her and cuddle is to set off those noise quackers. I sure don't like them either! I can't wait to see your baby pictures, cause as the song goes, you must-a been a beautiful baby, cause baby, look at you now!

It is not necessary to be afraid of the humans ... we have to dominate them.

Muahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!

Hi sweet Praline and Mom! I'm so glad you were not too upset from the noise of fireworks. Billie stayed the most calm out of my four kitties too. My floofy girl was also really calm during the thunderstorms. She slept right through them!
I'm glad Mom's stitches are out and I hope her foot isn't very "hurty". :) I can't wait to see Pralines's baby pictures! Floofy little kitten! Squee!
I am sitting upright today! Maybe after a hot shower I can be even more mobile like Mom.
Have a really great Saturday!
Big Hugs,
Lorianna (and Billie who is sunning herself in the kitchen right now.)

What a brave girl, Praline! We did pretty well too, but mostly because there were hardly any fireworks her this year. The draught must have had some influence on the parents! Hooray!!

Our city has a spectacular fireworks show at the University's football stadium, which is about a ten minute walk from our house. I think, after 11 years, Bhu has become used to it, but he still seeks comfort from me and I am HAPPY to give it!! His silky, glorious fur is a joy to stroke! How can I be so lucky? BTW, Bhu is in love with Sweet P. xxoo P

I just posted about our idiot neighbors and what they were setting off on July 4.I hope they have used up all their noisemakers for the year.
I look forward to seeing your baby pictures and hearing your gotcha story. My mother is academically-inclined. She wants to know what your mom got her Ph.D in?

Praline, that was a pretty good decision to stay next to your mom! I guess this is safer than hiding in any closet :-) We had noise crackers some weeks ago and Chica & Pumuckl got very irritated, but they thought the place under the computer table is the bets to be ;-)
